Working with People in crisis throughout Norfolk

We provide a wide range of professional services to meet the needs of people in crisis. We promise to provide every service with a smile and to the highest level of satisfaction.

Self- Neglect & Decluttering

We provide cleaning and clearing staff to bring the home back to a safe and hygienic level with a Mentor to engage with the person where possible.  We support them to take control and make a much needed change in their life,  while assessing any ongoing support requirements.

Compulsive Hoarding Disorder

Understanding that HD is a mental illness, we work with the person to gain trust and form a plan with them, to ensure they feel fully involved in improving their home environment. The physical removal of items and waste is carried out by one of our teams, but overseen by a dedicated Mentor and dependent on physical ability the service user is also expected to be involved in the removal clearing process.

Relapse Prevention Programme

Developed by our in house specialists, provision of a Mentor and guidance in basic home maintenance day to day routines methods and safety awareness, focussing heavily on maintaining progress made to give the person every chance to Move Forward with their life, in a safe and clean home environment.

Hospital Discharge Service

Preparing homes to enable someone to be discharged from Hospital.

MF-N also provides a Hospital Discharge Service, guided costs of which can be given after an assessment of a property. This can range from a simple moving of furniture to make space for hospital beds or equipment, targeted cleaning of areas such as bathrooms and kitchens to larger projects involving decluttering or clearing a hoard, reducing fire, avalanche, mobility and accessibility risk.
